  6. Welcome to MAXIMUM PERVERSUM ! 
  7.  
  8. This READ ME file contains notes for installation and use of the 
  9. CV-Player, which is distributed with MAXIMUM PERVERSUM. (Deutsche Anleitung
  10. weiter unten)

  12. The Videorama Videoplayer requires Microsoft's Video for Windows 
  13. Vers. 1.1e, which is included on the MAXIMUM PERVERSUM CD-ROM.

  17. INSTALLATION:
  18.  
  19. To install MAXIMUM PERVERSUM, run the SETUP.EXE program in the
  20. root directory on the CD-ROM.  The installation will create a directory
  21. for the Videorama Videoplayer files.  An Player program group is created 
  22. containing the Videorama Videoplayer application and Video for Windows
  23. Setup.

  25. A directory called VfW will be created on your hard disk.  It will
  26. contain all the Video for Windows files.

  29. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
  30.  
  31. To use MAXIMUM PERVERSUM you should have a 386 or better CPU with
  32. 8-bit (256 color) or better graphics, a sound card, Microsoft Windows
  33. 3.1 and DOS 5.0, and a mouse.  Your PC should have at least 8MB of RAM,
  34. and a CD-ROM drive with 300 kb/sec data rate.

  36. For viewing digital video a 16-bit (32,000) color video adapter is
  37. recommended.  An 8-bit display also looks good.  The release of
  38. Video for Windows included with MAXIMUM PERVERSUM is optimized 
  39. for 8- and 16-bit video.

  41. Certain high-resolution video cards may require updated driver software
  42. for correct operation of Video for Windows.  Please contact your
  43. video board manufacturer to see if newer driver software is available.

  54. Zur Installation der CD rufen Sie im Dateimanager die auf der CD 
  55. befindliche Datei SETUP.EXE auf.

  57. Zum einwandfreien Abspielen der Videos ist die Installation von
  58. Video for Windows, Version 1.1e, unerlΣ▀lich. Auf der CD finden 
  59. Sie eine Runtime-Version davon.

  61. Wir empfehlen zum optimalen Genu▀ eine Bildschirmeinstellung von
  62. 640 x 480 bei mindestens 256 Farben. Die Bildschirmeinstellung 
  63. kann im Windows-Setup geΣndert werden. Die genaue Verfahrensweise
  64. k÷nnen Sie Ihrem Windows-Handbuch entnehmen.
